If you have a gswin error message when you are trying to upload a document it could be due to fonts not being embedded or substituted.
Example gswin error message
To rectify this problem:
1. | Open Device and Printers on the file server.![]() |
1. | Right click Neevia Converter. |
2. | Select Printing preferences. |
2. | The Neevia Converter Printing Preferences window opens.![]() |
1. | Click Advanced. |
3. | The Neevia Converter Advanced Options window opens.![]() |
1. | The TrueType Font should be Download as Softfont. |
2. | Expand Postscript Options. |
3. | Set the TrueType Font Download Option to Native TrueType. |
4. | Click OK to save the changes. |
4. | You return to the Neevia Converter Printing Preferences window. Click OK to close the window and save your changes. |
5. | Open Device and Printers on the file server.![]() |
1. | Right click Neevia Converter. |
2. | Select Printing properties. |
6. | The Neevia Converter Properties window opens.![]() |
1. | Click the Device Settings tab. |
7. | The Neevia Converter Device Settings are displayed.![]() |
1. | Expand Font Substitution Table. |
2. | Check that all the fonts have <Don't Substitute> selected. |
3. | Click OK to close the Neevia Converter Properties window. |
8. | Print a document to make sure that the changes have corrected the error. |
