Installing MS Office 2010

This section covers the installation instructions for Microsoft Office 2010 on the web server. DO NOT use the default installation procedure as you need to customize the installation.

Icon-Explanation If Microsoft Office is installed with the default settings, Skyline can fail to convert some uploaded documents.

To install Microsoft Office 2010:

1.Insert the Microsoft Office 2010 CD or locate the location of the installation folder.
If Auto-start is disabled, browse the CD and double-click Setup.exe. The installation files are extracted.
2.The Enter your Product Key window opens. Enter your Product Key, usually found on the CD sleeve. When your product code has been verified, click Continue.
3.The Software License window opens. Select I accept the terms of this agreement. Click Continue.
4.The 'Choose the installation you want' window opens. Click Customize.
If Microsoft Office is installed with the default settings, Skyline can fail to convert some uploaded documents.
5.Only install the following programs with the option Run all from my computer selected. If other programs are available select "Not available" for each one not shown in the list below.
Microsoft Office Excel
Microsoft Office PowerPoint
Microsoft Office Publisher
Microsoft Office Word
Office Shared Features
Office Tools

Office2012-Options

6.Click Install Now to start the installation.
7.When the installation is complete click Close.
