Create Owner of Databases

A new Skyline local owner of each of the three databases needs to be created. There is an existing user called Skyline associated with each database that needs to be removed.

To remove the user Skyline from each of the new databases:

1.Expand database > Security > Users
2.Right mouse click the user Skyline & select Delete.

3.Remove the Skyline user from the SkylineConverter database.
4.Remove the Skyline user from the SkylineMembership database.

 

Create a local user called Skyline:

1.Expand Security > Logins  then right mouse click Logins and select New Login.

2.The Login - New window opens.

1.Enter the login name Skyline.
2.Select SQL Server authentication. Enter the password Skyline and then confirm the password.
3.Remove the option to Enforce password policy.
3.Select the page User Mapping.

1.Select the database Skyline and type dbo in the default schema field.
2.Select db_owner as the database role membership.
3.Select the database SkylineConverter and type dbo in the default schema field. then select db_owner as the database role membership. Do the same for the SkylineMembership database.
4.When finished click OK.
